(b. 2006) Is a composition and music education student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.  

As a composer he has completed a number of works for chamber ensemble, solo instruments, and marching ensembles. His works have been described as "post-minimalist" utilizing texture and soundscapes to capture obscure experiences and communicate what words cannot.

As an educator, Owen has spent 3 years designing and teaching winter indoor percussion and winds programs, having formed the Mineral Wells HS indoor winds, seeing the program from 12 members to 22 and a 10+ point increase over his two seasons with the ensemble.
