The dragonflies have one of the most unique mating rituals of the animal kingdom, sparing the actual biology of the process, because frankly I don't want to write that down.
Once dragonflies have selected their partner, they will lock together and take off in flight. While in truth this is a guarding behavior, it’s much more fun to imagine it as a dance, to me at least.
“Dragonfly Dances” is meant to depict this ritual, grand dynamic changes and rhythmic pulsing represent the soaring heights and exhilaration of the love story between these insects
