"I’m not entirely sure what the name is supposed to mean, the piece is meant to evoke a sense of nostalgia, bittersweet, regret, hope, nuance and most importantly confusion. The work explores these conflicting emotions through several repetitive motifs that intertwine and re-contextualize with reharmonization to represent racing and conflicting thoughts battling for the foreground of the listening environment.

This piece still feels like a draft, the piece represents conflict and confusion, so it makes sense that the final draft still feels conflicted and confused to me. I feel as though I could work and rework this music forever, as it is representative of some human condition of change."
