"I’m not entirely sure what the name is supposed to mean, the piece is meant to evoke a sense of nostalgia, bittersweet, regret, hope, nuance and most importantly confusion. The work explores these conflicting emotions through several repetitive motifs that intertwine and recontextualize with reharmonization to represent racing and conflicting thoughts battling for the foreground of the listening environment.

This piece still feels like a draft, the piece represents conflict and confusion, so it makes sense that the final draft still feels conflicted and confused to me. I feel as though I could work and rework this music forever, as it is representative of some human condition of change."
